Supportive psychotherapy
Supportive psychotherapy allows clients to cope with issues that impact their quality of life. I can listen, support, and work with you as you navigate challenges. Getting help through psychotherapy can help you develop healthier and more effective habits.
Have you had an opportunity to learn how to cope with physical and mental health concerns in a supportive manner? My goal is create a calm, confidential, and supportive environment where my clients can feel comfortable sharing their experiences without feeling judged or scrutinized.

Stress
Sometimes you feel overwhelmed, stressed, lost or trapped in the way of living that no longer feels right to you. Life can be hard sometimes, but you don't have to go through it alone. My role is to support individuals through challenging situations using an insightful and observant approach to promote resiliency. I can help you understand your emotions and how to use them to meet your needs.

About me
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist who is deeply passionate about helping you improve your quality of life by caring for your mental health. I believe that with the right support, everyone has the power to transform their lives.
In my practice, I guide individuals from diverse backgrounds through their personal journeys of growth and healing. My approach is about helping you recognize your strengths, explore your options, and find the solutions that resonate with you. Together, we’ll work on creating positive and lasting change.
With extensive experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I can assist with a variety of common issues, including anxiety, depression, anger, and self-esteem. Having lived in Canada as an immigrant for nine years, I deeply understand the challenges that come with such a journey. As a Black woman and immigrant, I’ve been inspired to develop a culturally sensitive and inclusive perspective, dedicated to supporting minorities and acknowledging their unique experiences.
I work collaboratively, rooted in principles that are anti-homophobic, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive. If you’re feeling stuck, I want you to know that there is hope, and you don’t have to face your challenges alone.
I offer sessions in both English and Portuguese. Let’s start your journey toward healing and empowerment together.
